Crafting should be something that helps you to take your mind off of the trickier things in life, which is why I decided to make this fun, family-friendly site. I wanted everyone out there to be able to break ground on a project that they could do from the comfort of their own homes. From creating fun, seasonal wreaths to completing your own painting, crafting is a great way to express yourself. Check out these posts to learn more about crafting, and don't hesitate to try out something new. Say "Thanks" To Great Employees With A Personalized Note Card

by Michele Carroll

There's a reason why the old "Employee of the Month" certificate never goes out of style. Workers do like to feel appreciated for their dedication. Providing workers with both year-off and time-off awards or cash bonuses helps keep them motivated. Grandiose "thank you's" usually arrive yearly or quarterly. That's fine, but employers shouldn't overlook providing acknowledgment throughout the year. Giving someone something as little as a personalized "thank you" card could have a significant effect. Like gifts, thoughts count for a lot when it comes to showing you notice a top worker's performance. Personalized and custom notes might go a bit farther than generic ones, as well.

The Generic "Thank You" Is Merely "Okay"

Purchasing a stack of "thank you" cards from a stationery shop is better than nothing. Handwriting nice words on the provided lines inside the card can be heartfelt. Don't expect these cards to have too much of an impact, though. Not much thought when into their design and, sometimes, the cards look "cheap." Now, a worker may appreciate the idea, but there might not be any lasting impact. A personalized card could do a lot more.

Engraving Text Inside the Personalized Card

What sounds better: ballpoint pen-produced handwritten words on notebook-style lines, or caligraphy-styled words drawn with dark borders and gold-colored lettering? Imagine if the gold color had varying shades in different areas on the lettering. Maybe adding sparkling glitter to the letters to provide better visuals could be an additional touch. The visuals might draw a surprised reaction from the worker who opens the card and sees, "Thanks for a job well done" presented with unique artistry.

Adding a Personalized Image to the Exterior

Is there anything more personal a custom image to the card's front, an image connected to the recipient? Someone who enjoys bowling in his/her free time might smile upon seeing a drawing of a bowling ball knocking down pins. The monogrammed words, "Way to go!" could appear right above the strike. Maybe numbers indicated a perfect score might appear in the corner. As soon as someone sees such a card, the person knows much thought went into making it.

Working with the Best Service

With a talented artist handling the work, personalized "Thank you" note cards could capture the look you want. More importantly, they may draw out the reaction you want in the employees. And that might help the work environment immensely. Reach out to someone in your area that can help you create personalized note cards.
